Pure, with ice cubes and a squeeze of lemon or as centerpiece in a summery fresh gin & tonic, the distinctive fruity note of this Compound or New Western gin makes the Steinhart Wild Blueberry Gin something very unique. On the Canadian East Coast, the blueberry refinement of the Steinhart Handcrafted Gin is already the hip and hot long drink named "Fresh Dash". One of the reasons why this rarity is quite difficult to get. Another is that the wild Canadian blueberries macerated in this exquisite composition can only be harvested at a very specific time of year and in limited numbers. We are very happy to currently have some bottles of this treasure in our assortment.
Please note that this Silver-winner at the World Gin Awards 2019 in the category "Best Flavoured Gin", only "beaten" by the Steinhart Haskap Gin, also awarded Bronze at the Berlin International Spirits Competition in 2019 as well, is a New Western Gin, not a classic London Dry Gin. Since EU law as it stands today does not yet officially list Compound or New Western Gin as Gin, this piece of distilling art is officially sold in Germany and Europe as Blaubeer Spirit until the law will be adapted.
